New Zealand Trade & Enterprise is the government agency charged with helping New Zealand businesses to grow internationally.

Oversaw a portfolio of technology companies with a primary focus on North American growth. Was a member of Design Team, reviewing organization’s delivery model and includes COVID—19s impact on doing business as an export nation and ways business models and organizational leadership may need change.

VP BD — Mish Guru

Mish Guru is the #1 Marketing Platform for Snapchat and Instagram Stories. Senior leadership role spanning across sales, account management, customer success and product development. Deep understanding of Social Media’s transition to a Stories-first ecosystem in 2019. Experience on driving internationally recognized campaigns in the vertical space and multiple years experience with global brands and agencies.

Director, Equity Crowdfunding Platform — PledgeMe

PledgeMe is New Zealand’s only crowdfunding platform licensed to offer access to capital via equity, lending and rewards-based crowdfunding. I led the Equity Platform from its launch through the initial years where we successfully closed +50% of New Zealand’s first ever equity crowdfunding rounds. I also created CrowdfundingU, an accelerator style program still utilized today. During this time we also obtained our Lending license (secured and unsecured lending) as well as created PledgeMe Private to facilitate non-public seed and early stage investment rounds up to $2m and later setup operations in Australia.
